Ques:- What is the difference between brd, srs and use of case documents?
Right Answer:
BRD (Business Requirements Document) outlines the high-level business needs and objectives. SRS (Software Requirements Specification) details the functional and non-functional requirements for the software. Use Case documents describe specific interactions between users and the system to achieve particular goals.
Ques:- Explain in brief about the Documentation – CFD, DFD, Functional Documentation.
Right Answer:
**CFD (Context Flow Diagram)**: A high-level diagram that shows the flow of information between external entities and the system, helping to define system boundaries and interactions.

**DFD (Data Flow Diagram)**: A visual representation that illustrates how data moves through a system, detailing processes, data stores, and data flows, typically used to analyze and design systems.

**Functional Documentation**: A comprehensive document that outlines the functionalities of a system, including requirements, use cases, and specifications, serving as a guide for development and testing.
Ques:- How to depict dependency in Ms Project?
Right Answer:
To depict dependency in MS Project, you can link tasks by selecting the tasks you want to connect, then clicking on the "Link Tasks" button in the toolbar or using the shortcut Ctrl + F2. This creates a finish-to-start dependency by default. You can also adjust the type of dependency (finish-to-start, start-to-start, finish-to-finish, or start-to-finish) by double-clicking on the task and modifying the "Predecessors" tab.
Ques:- WHAT IS WORKING CAPITAL
Right Answer:
Working capital is the difference between a company's current assets and current liabilities, indicating the short-term financial health and operational efficiency of the business.
Ques:- What is classification analysis and how does it work
Right Answer:
Classification analysis is a data analysis technique used to categorize data into predefined classes or groups. It works by using algorithms to learn from a training dataset, where the outcomes are known, and then applying this learned model to classify new, unseen data based on its features. Common algorithms include decision trees, logistic regression, and support vector machines.
Ques:- What are some common data analysis tools and software
Right Answer:
Some common data analysis tools and software include:

1. Microsoft Excel
2. R
3. Python (with libraries like Pandas and NumPy)
4. SQL
5. Tableau
6. Power BI
7. SAS
8. SPSS
9. Google Analytics
10. Apache Spark
Ques:- How do you handle missing data in a dataset
Right Answer:
To handle missing data in a dataset, you can use the following methods:

1. **Remove Rows/Columns**: Delete rows or columns with missing values if they are not significant.
2. **Imputation**: Fill in missing values using techniques like mean, median, mode, or more advanced methods like KNN or regression.
3. **Flagging**: Create a new column to indicate missing values for analysis.
4. **Predictive Modeling**: Use algorithms to predict and fill in missing values based on other data.
5. **Leave as Is**: In some cases, you may choose to leave missing values if they are meaningful for analysis.
Ques:- What are descriptive and inferential statistics
Right Answer:
Descriptive statistics summarize and describe the main features of a dataset, using measures like mean, median, mode, and standard deviation. Inferential statistics use sample data to make predictions or inferences about a larger population, often employing techniques like hypothesis testing and confidence intervals.
Ques:- What is exploratory data analysis (EDA)
Right Answer:
Exploratory Data Analysis (EDA) is the process of analyzing and summarizing datasets to understand their main characteristics, often using visual methods. It helps identify patterns, trends, and anomalies in the data before applying formal modeling techniques.
Ques:- Two trains of length 120 m and 280 m are running towards each other on parallel lines at 42 kmph and 30 kmph respectively. In what time will they be clear of each other from the moment they meet?
Right Answer:
The trains will be clear of each other in 12 seconds.

I solve it as the 280m train being stationary… and the 120m train moving at (42+30) = 72kph…. or 20mps

The front of the train will have to go 280m to pass the stationary train plus another 120m for the backs to clear… that is 400m in all.

The time to travel 400m at 20mps is 20secs

Ques:- A train leaves Delhi at 9 a.m. at a speed of 30 kmph. Another train leaves at 2 p.m. at a speed of 40 kmph on the same day and in the same direction. How far from Delhi, will the two trains meet?
Right Answer:
The two trains will meet 150 km from Delhi.

Ques:- What’s the need for process improvement plans?
Right Answer:
Process improvement plans are needed to identify inefficiencies, enhance productivity, ensure quality, reduce costs, and adapt to changing requirements, ultimately leading to better project outcomes and stakeholder satisfaction.
Ques:- How do you handle change request?
Right Answer:
I handle change requests by following a structured process: first, I assess the impact of the change on the project scope, timeline, and budget. Then, I consult with stakeholders to gather their input and approval. After that, I document the change request and update project plans accordingly, ensuring clear communication with the team about the changes. Finally, I monitor the implementation of the change to ensure it aligns with project goals.
Ques:- How will you (as manager) not let your team member leave the company while he’s only there for hike, and your senior management has decided to follow strict budget?
Right Answer:
To retain the team member, I would have an open and honest conversation to understand their motivations and concerns. I would highlight their value to the team, discuss potential career growth opportunities, and explore non-monetary incentives such as professional development, flexible work arrangements, or additional responsibilities that align with their interests. Additionally, I would advocate for their contributions to senior management to seek possible budget adjustments or future salary reviews.
